Media to Media Transfer

It is the policy of ICCM not to transfer or copy copyrighted material from one form of media to another unless the appropriate permissions have been acquired from the copyright holder. ICCM will assume that copyright permissions have been sought from the copyright holder by the customer when footage or data is submitted for transfer from one media type to another. It is the responsibility of the customer who requests the service to ensure that they have the appropriate permission from the copyright and intellectual rights holder when submitting media, footage, images, text or other such material to ICCM for any service which includes publishing or transferring from one media type to another.

The customer understands that the content, footage, graphics, photos, diagrams and images are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated, the customer should ensure that any materials supplied are not copyrighted and any permissions have been sought from the material owner as appropriate. ICCM reserves the right to refuse or move any content if necessary. ICCM is not liable for any costs which may arise from the customer failing to notify ICCM that permission to use copyrighted material has not been provided.

When submitting data, footage or material on media to be converted or transferred to other media it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that thorough instructions are supplied with the media relating to material which is not to be copied or transferred. The customer understands that the transfer of data, footage or material from one media to another is an automated process which is subject to random checks rather than constant monitoring. ICCM cannot be held responsible for unwanted footage, data or other material present on the media submitted by the customer being transferred to the new media unless the customer gives clear instructions at the time that the original media is submitted not to transfer this data, footage or material.
